KITTY: The self-appointed leader of the posse. Make the plans and tells everyone what to do. Interested in spirituality - uses her tarot cards with great gusto. Hangs crystals and wind-chimes in her airy-decorated room. Long-term aim: to find a cure for cancer. Short-term aim: bag a modelling contract with Versace and go to the next James Bond premiere. BEST FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE.
FREYA: Has an incredible don't-give-a-damn attitude and afflicts this on everyone. Never looses her cool. Doesn't mind being different - she hates posers. She's very original - the only girl in her ballet school with a silver tutu. She supports anti-racism and anti-animal cruelty campaigns and writes regulary to the government with complaints on how the country is being run. BEST FRIENDS WITH SCARLET.
AVRIL: The cool skater girl of the posse. Never goes anywhere without her guitar, incase a new idea for a song pops into her head. She idolises Sum 41 and Avril Lavigne. Shops in Camden Market as she considers shops like New Look, Mk One etc. to be 'tacky'. Loves her walkman and skateboard and has Tony Hawks' phone number. BEST FRIENDS WITH SYDNEY.
SYDNEY: Secret intellectual, outward goth. Tends to lock herself into her turret bedroom (decorated as the dark Lord's tower from The Lord of the Rings) so she can light scented candles and write poetry. Shops with Avril, hangs with Avril, but has divided musical tastes with Avril. Sydney prefers Slipknot and other metal bands. Her favourite bag - black imitation leather (Freya made her bin her real leather one) covered with safety pins and slogan badges. BEST FRIENDS WITH AVRIL.
JESSICA: Very melodramatic. A real drama queen. Constantly stressed/over-exited/over-reacting. Has plans to be the most influential actress in Hollywood. Looks up to her idol, Audrey Hepburn (has watched 'My Fair Lady' 24 times). She paints her nails a new colour every weekend and has a secret love of the Harry Potter books. Very casual dress sense - prefers t-shirts and jeans most of the time but has a secret stash of designer dresses for special occassions. BEST FRIENDS WITH MERCEDES.
MAPLE: The younger sister of Sydney, constantly feels out of place. Everyone thinks she is 'real cute' but can be a complete brat. Tends to spend her time watching sit-coms on the TV or playing Lara Croft on Play Station. Radiates loner-girl cool, as none of the posse are her age. Great singing voice - Avril wants to feature her on her album that she is going to produce one day. BEST FRIENDS WITH NO-ONE.
SCARLET: Probably of the coolest of the posse, she has great dreams of being a fashion designer. She is constantly snipping at lace, cotton, gauze, silk and denim as she shapes her creations. Most of the posse have clothes made by her, especially Sydney, who's fashion sense is slightly obscure. Met Donatella Versace when she was younger and was from then on influenced to design clothes. BEST FRIENDS WITH FREYA.
MERCEDES: Thinks she is the best of the posse, and therefore slightly big-headed. Writes her own raps which the rest of the posse hate, except for Jessica. She thinks ripping her jeans is the most original thing that anyone in the posse has ever done as a fashion statement, even though Sydney wears combat boots with mini-dresses and mixes ties and fishnets at random into all her outfits. Has a great love for the orient and devours chinese and indian takeaways at incredible speed. BEST FRIENDS WITH JESSICA.
